    Name: Ferric Sulphate (FS)
    Molecular formula: Fe₂(SO₄)₃
    Appearance: Offwhite amorphous powder, hygroscopic, readily soluble in water. 10%(W/W) aqueous solution is a cream white colloid, which turns gradually into brown transparent solution.

2. Use:
    As flocculant in water purification and sewage treatment; in preparation of iron alums, other iron salts and pigments; in etching aluminum; in pickling stainless steel and copper; as mordant in textile dyeing and calico printing; in soil conditioners; as polymerization catalyst.
3. Features: (compared with other inorganic flocculant)
    1. Fe³⁺ flocculant, low molecualr, good stability.
    2. High Fe content, ≥24% ,to the maximum ≥27%.
    3. It has better charge neutrality and higher cationic charge density, compared with Polymer Ferric flocculants.
    4. Low color light of aqeous solution compared with Polymer Ferric flocculants at equivalent concentration. It will not cause yellowing if dosage exceeded.
    5. Better flocculating and emulsion breaking effect, suitable for purification of tap water.
